I dont know of any games that let you choose between using Wii Motion Plus improvements or a regular remote. If a game uses Wii Motion Plus every controller will require it a regular remote simply wont work. If a game doesnt require Wii Motion Plus the game doesnt recognize the improvements and it operates just like a regular remote.
